HOUSTON – Claiming that he suffered an anxiety attack as a result of a bad elevator ride, Harris County resident Dejuan Davis has filed a lawsuit.

Harris County District Court records show that Davis sued 6780 Southwest Fwy., Houston, LLC on Jan. 8 in the 151st District Court.

Per the original petition, Davis embarked on an elevator at the defendant’s property on Sept. 10, 2017 when it malfunctioned.

“(The elevator went) up and down without the doors opening, the suit says.

Aside from the purported anxiety attack, Davis states that he suffered serious bodily injuries.

Consequently, he seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

Kristine M. Gregg of the Daspit Law Firm in Houston is representing the plaintiff.
