HOUSTON – A Harris County man alleges he was terminated in retaliation for objecting to the practices of his former employer.

Steven Little filed a complaint on Jan. 4 in the Harris County District Court against Perry Homes LLC alleging violation of the Texas Whistleblower Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he reported the defendant's alleged redlining practices to law enforcement and was later terminated.

The plaintiff holds Perry Homes LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly retaliated against him and terminated his employment for his good faith report of violations of law to an appropriate law enforcement authority.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $1 million, reinstatement, lost wages and such other and further relief to which he may be justly entitled. He is represented by Tammy Tran of Tammy Tran Law Firm in Houston.
