HOUSTON – A Victoria County man alleges the negligence of his employer caused his injuries at a job site in Spring.

Jose Hinojosa filed a complaint on Jan. 7 in the Harris County District Court against Lowe's Cos. Inc. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 17, 2018, he was in the course and scope of his employment with the defendant when he fell from a reach truck and hit his head on a job site in Spring. He alleges he sustained serious injuries that resulted in pain and suffering, disfigurement, medical expenses and lost wages.

The plaintiff holds Lowe's Cos. Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently conducted operation on the premises, failed to properly train and supervise employees and negligently hired and retained careless employees.

The plaintiff seeks monetary relief of no more than $100,000 and all other relief to which he may be justly entitled. He is represented by Jesus A. Salinas of Daspit Law Firm in Houston.
