HOUSTON – A Pizza Hut employee has filed a personal injury lawsuit against the Plano-based restaurant chain, claiming she experienced an on the job slip and fall incident almost two years ago.

Maria Dominguez filed the suit in the Harris County 125th District Court on Jan. 28.

Dominguez’s suit claims that a leaking sink caused the nearby floor to get wet. The plaintiff reportedly sustained injuries to her left wrist, neck, back, and general body.

“The defendant failed to provide the plaintiff with a reasonably safe work environment and adequate and safe equipment,” court papers say.

Consequently, Dominguez seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

She is represented by the law firm White Harrison Trial Lawyers in Houston.
