Man says convenience store clerk injured arm

Lawsuits
Broken arm(1000)

HOUSTON – A Harris County man alleges that a trip to a northwest Houston convenience store resulted in him suffering an arm injury.

Tony Green filed a lawsuit against Chevron Start Shop on Jan. 29 in the Harris County 127th District Court.

Court papers say that a store associate injured Green on the night of Dec. 10, 2018.

“The plaintiff was purchasing items from Chevron Star Shop through (the) security glass transaction window,” the complaint states. “After the plaintiff purchased his items, he reached down in (the) security box to pick up his change. As he proceeded to remove change from (the) box, (the) store associate slammed the plaintiff’s left arm in (the) security glass box.”

The suit asserts that the defendant failed in its duty not to inflict harm on Green while he was on the premises.

Consequently, he seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

Dion A. Craig of Houston is representing the complainant.
