HOUSTON – A Harris County man is suing an Asian restaurant after he allegedly slipped and fell at the eatery more than a year ago.

Ki Vo brought a personal injury lawsuit against XFY Houston LLC, doing business as Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot, on Jan. 31 in the Harris County 165th District Court.

According to Vo, he was at the establishment located at 5901 Westheimer Rd. for dinner with his family on Mar. 5, 2017 when he “slipped and fell on a liquid substance which had previously fallen and was allowed to accumulate by the defendant.”

The plaintiff adds that he “fell again on the same liquid substance,” asserting the lack of caution signs.

Consequently, Vo seeks unspecified monetary damages.

Ivan J. Capellan of the law firm Hightower Capellan in Houston is representing the complainant.
