SHERMAN – An African-American male in his 50s alleges he was subjected to discriminatory treatment by his employers because of his race and age.
Willie J. Foster filed a complaint on Jan. 31 in the Sherman District of the Eastern District of Texas against Heritage Bag Co. and Novolex Bagcraft Inc. alleging violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is a current employee of the defendants and alleges he has been subjected to different terms and conditions of employment than his Hispanic and Caucasian co-workers because of his race, sex and age.
The plaintiff holds Heritage Bag Co. and Novolex Bagcraft Inc. responsible because the defendants allegedly subjected him to sexual harassment, limited training and exclusion from better and higher paying positions.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks all damages, attorney’s fees, expert witness fees, costs, interest and such other and further legal and equitable relief to which he is entitled. He is represented by Marshay Howard of Howard & Associates in Dallas.
