GALVESTON – Stating that she sustained injuries from a horseback riding session almost two years ago, Houston resident Mehrsa Rezaei has filed a lawsuit.

Rezaei’s suit, which was filed on Feb. 6 in the Galveston County 56th District Court, names Pedro Alcocer, individually and doing business as Galveston Island Horse Rides, and Diane Lewis as defendants.

According to the plaintiff, she was left unassisted while riding the horse on the respondents’ property on May 6, 2017.

“The horse became uncontrollable, causing the plaintiff to fall off the horse,” the suit says.

Consequently, Rezaei seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

The Hadi Law Firm in Houston is representing the complainant.
