HOUSTON – Raintree Holdings, LLC faces a lawsuit from one of its former truck drivers who claims the company fired him because of his medical condition, recent Harris County District Court records show.

Omar Vasquez’s suit, which was filed on Feb. 7 in the 152nd District Court, explains that the plaintiff was initially terminated while he was out on medical leave to recuperate from heart surgery but was rehired in late September 2017.

The defendant fired Vasquez again after it was made aware he was suffering chest pains on the job, court documents state.

Consequently, the complainant seeks unspecified monetary damages.

He is represented by Craig R. Keener of Houston.
