HOUSTON – A man alleges he broke his leg in a fall on a walkway at a Houston property because of slippery conditions caused by a sprinkler system.

Hieu Huynh filed a complaint on Feb. 12 in the Harris County District Court against Unilev Management Corp. et al. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 13, 2018, he slipped and fell on the walkway located at Three Riverway in Houston, which is owned by the defendants, and sustained a broken leg. The suit states the walkway was slippery because of residual runoff from the property's sprinkler system, landscaping drainage and/or steep grade of the walkway.

The plaintiff holds Unilev Management Corp., et al. responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to exercise ordinary care to prevent the risk of harm to invitees or warn plaintiff of the premises' dangerous condition.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but less than $1 million and such other and further relief to which he may be justly entitled. He is represented by Juan A. Solis, Stephen R. Walker and Gregory J. Finney of Law Offices of Manuel Solis PC in Houston.
