HOUSTON – Sofia E. Bruera of the Bruera Law Firm, PLLC in Houston filed a personal injury lawsuit on behalf of a Texas man who says that he fell from a waste removal truck last year, recent Harris County District Court records show.

Dwayne Bennett is suing Republic Waste Services of Texas, Ltd. in the 334th District Court.

Bennett’s suit, which was filed on Feb. 25, alleges that his fall occurred on Sept. 27, 2018 when the defendant’s truck “struck a water valve.”

The plaintiff reportedly suffered injuries to his right foot, groin area, and lower back.

Consequently, Bennett seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.
