Pappas employee sues restaurant group over foot injury

HOUSTON – A restaurant employee has pursued legal action after allegedly injuring his right foot on the job, recent Harris County District Court records show.

In his lawsuit against Pappas Restaurants, Inc., Eduardo J. Tena-Hernandez says that he was hurt on Mar. 13, 2017 when he was moving a 70-lb. box of fajitas.

Harris County 270th District Court filings dated Feb. 26 accuse the defendant of negligence and gross negligence.

Consequently, Tena-Hernandez seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

He is represented by Sofia E. Bruera of the Bruera Law Firm, PLLC in Houston.
