GALVESTON —A home buyer is suing a seller, alleging the Bacliff home he purchased was infested with mold.

Jimmy D. Torres filed a complaint March 4 in Galveston County District Court, against Greeneco Builders LLC, alleging negligence and a construction defect as well as breach of contract..

According to the complaint, Torres purchased a home at 5111 Bay Lane, Bacliff, on Nov. 2, 2017. The suit says Torres soon discovered the home had a mold infestation that required replacement of possessions and the cleaning of products.
