HOUSTON — A law firm is suing a doctors group, alleging it was was harassed and not provided the services it was promised.

Pejman Maadani and Maadani Law filed a complaint March 10 in Harris County District Court against Texas Alliance Medical Group PA and Summit Health Management Group Inc., alleging violation of deceptive trade practices laws.

According to the complaint, in May 2017, Maadani Law was solicited for business by Doctors Clinic. The suit says the defendants alleged the law firm would have access to a number of benefits if the plaintiffs worked with its group.

Maadani says it agreed to refer at least 20 patients to Doctors Clinic for which the plaintiff should have received cases, but it did not. The defendants continually harassed the plaintiff for payment even though the plaintiff did not receive the services agreed upon.

Maadani Law seeks monetary relief of $1.110,228, damages of $54,864, plus $109,728 as well as court costs, attorneys fees and all other just relief. It is represented by Pejman J. Maadani.
