HOUSTON — A Harris County woman is suing Circle K, alleging she was injured when she tripped and fell on uneven concrete.

Barbara A. Garza filed a complaint Feb. 20 in Harris County Circuit Court against Skipper Beverage Company, doing business as Circle K, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on Sept. 8, 2018, Garza was in the Circle K parking lot at 8040 S Loop E. Freeway, Houston, when she was caused to trip over uneven concrete, leading to serious injuries, pain and suffering, disability and medical expenses.

The suit says Circle K failed to warn of the danger or remedy the situation.

Garza seeks damages between $100,000 and $200,00, pre-judgement and post-judgement interest and court costs, plus all just relief. She is represented by attorneys Haleigh A. Shanks and Frederick L. McGuire of the Law Office of Frederick L. McGuire in Liberty.
