HOUSTON – A west Houston bar and grill has been named in a patron’s personal injury lawsuit, recent Harris County District Court records show.

In his 7-page complaint filed against GR8 Plate Shepherd, doing business as Jax Grill, on Mar. 11 in the 11th District Court, Tracy Bushnell claims that a large fluorescent light fixture fell from the ceiling and struck him on his back, neck, and left shoulder while he was seated in the defendant’s bar area.

Consequently, Bushnell seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

He is represented by Kenneth R. Baird of The Baird Law Firm in Houston.
