HOUSTON – Autozone, Inc. and one of its employees have been sued over a motor vehicle accident last year, according to recent Harris County District Court records.

In a lawsuit filed on Mar. 20 in the 334th District Court, Jose Perez claims that an Autozone-owned vehicle driven by Matthew David Major “violently” crashed into his on June 5, 2018 near 2900 S. Valley Pkwy.

The complaint says that the defendants were cited by law enforcement for causing the collision, which caused Perez to suffer injuries to his neck, back, and other parts of his body.

The plaintiff seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

He is represented by the law firm Arnold & Itkin LLP in Houston.
