GALVESTON – Samantha Martinez of the Martinez Firm, PLLC in Houston and Daniel B. Cratty of the Cratty Law Firm, PLLC in Sugar Land have filed a lawsuit for a local couple who alleges that a veterinarian sexually assaulted their daughter.

The suit, which was filed on Mar. 28 in the Galveston County 405th District Court, targets Dr. Todd Glover; Animal Hospital of Santa Fe; Glover Veterinary Services, PLLC; and Planned Pethood & Petriatric Clinic.

It accuses Glover of providing drinks laced with medication to the anonymous plaintiffs’ daughter and other minors in early December 2018. Jenny Doe and the two other minors were reportedly incapacitated by the medication “purchased, controlled, and stored by some or all of the company defendants.”

“Once Jenny Doe and the other minors were incapacitated and unconscious, Defendant Glover proceeded to engage in nonconsensual sexual acts with Jenny Doe, including sexual intercourse,” the original petition says. “Jenny Doe was unable to defend herself or to stop the attack.”

The girl’s parents seek unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

Glover was arrested in Louisiana shortly after the subject incident and was charged with rape and battery.
