GALVESTON — A construction company is suing a Santa Fe customer, alleging it was not paid more than $20,000, for completed work.

Showalter Construction LLC filed a complaint April 2 in Galveston County District Court against Bobby Brown Jr. and Linda Brown, alleging breach of contract and sums owed.

According to the complaint, Showalter and the Browns entered into a contract in which the plaintiff agreed to provide  complete construction and mold remediation services for the defendants' home at 13601 Mount Vernon St., Santa Fe.

The plaintiff alleges it has completed the work but the Browns have breached contract through failing to pay for the work, which totals $20,596.25 in sums owed.

Showalter Construction seeks trial by jury, the $20,596.25 owed, attorney fees, court costs, interest and all other appropriate relief. It is represented by attorneys Phil Griffis and Jerry Mason of The Law Office of Phil Griffis in Houston.
