HOUSTON — A McLennan County man is suing a Houston business, alleging he fell from a ladder due to negligence.

Bradley Leger filed a complaint April 2 in Harris County District Court against Express Energy Services Operating LP and Express Energy Services LLC, alleging negligence and failure to provide a safe work environment.

According to the complaint, Leger was working for Latshaw Drilling and Exploration Company Jan. 11 on a drilling rig in North Zulch. The suit says Leger was struck in the head by a large metal bucket while climbing a ladder, causing him to fall to ground.

Leger says he was unconscious, suffered injuries and had to be transported to a hospital.

Leger seeks trial by jury, damages of more than $1 million, interest and all equitable relief. He is represented by atorneys Ryan H. Zehl, Matt L. Martin, Zachary P. McFarlane of Zehl & Associates PC in Houston.
