HOUSTON — A Bexar County woman is suing a Houston aquarium and restaurant, alleging she fractured her ankle due to a dangerous condition.

Glenda Lammert filed a complaint April 16 in Harris County District Court against Houston Aquarium Inc., doing business as Downtown Aquarium, and Landry's Inc., doing business as Landry's Restaurants Inc.., alleging negligence and violation of Texas law.

According to the complaint, Lammert was at the aqaurium and Landry's, 410 Bagby St., Houston, on March 12, 2018. The suit says she caught her foot in a trench next to a replica rowboat, causing her to fall and badly break her left ankle, leading to physical pain and mental anguish.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to properly light the walkway and maintain it in a safe condition.

Lammert seeks monetary relief between $200,000 and $1, court costs, attorney fees and all equitable relief. She is represented by attorney Charles Riley of Riley & Riley in San Antonio.
