Vocational institute alleges student failed to pay off $8,400 loan

HOUSTON — A vocational institute is suing a student, alleging she failed to pay off a an $8,400 loan.

Vocational Training Institute Inc., doing business as PIMA Medical Institute, filed a complaint April 23 in Harris County District Court against Thuy Nguyen, also known as Julie Nguyen, alleging failure to pay.

According to the complaint, PIMA entered into an enrollment agreement with Nguyen to cover the costs of tuition and other school expenses. The suit states Nguyen had agreed to promptly pay, when due, all of the money owed the plaintiff. 

However, the suit says, Nguyen has failed to pay off the balance and is indebted for $8,481.17.

PIMA Medical Institute seeks the $8,481.17 plus interest, attorney fees, court costs and all just relief. It is represented by attorney James West of West Law Group PLLC in Houston.
