Employee alleges construction company's negligence led to broken leg

HOUSTON — A Harris County man is suing a construction company, alleging he broke his leg due to negligence.

Bryan Ganious filed a complaint April 23 in Harris County District Court against R. Construction Company and R Construction Holding Inc., alleging negligence.

Ganious alleges he was working for his employer April 2, 2018, at the Sienna plantation construction site near Missouri City The suit states the plaintiff entered a trench to perform testing when the defendant's employee, who was operating an excavator, caused a large piece of dirt to fall 10 to 15 feet on Ganious' left leg.

The plaintiff said he sustained catastrophic injuries, including a broken left leg.

Ganious seeks more than $1 million in damages, a trial by jury, attorney fees, court costs and all other equitable relief. He is represented by attorneys Ryan H. Zehl, Matt L. Martin and Zachary P.
