Houston drywall company alleges client owes more than $15,000 for services, labor

HOUSTON — A Houston drywall company is suing a client  who allegedly has failed to pay more than $15,000 for services and labor.

John's Little John's Interiors Inc., filed a complaint June 21 in Harris County District Court against White Oak Events LLC, White Oak Hospitality LLC and The Lusk Group Inc., alleging breach of contract, sworn account, violation of Prompt Pay Act, foreclosure of mechanic's lien and unjust enrichment.

According to the complaint, John's Little John supplied drywall, installation materials and labor to the defendant for an improvement of White Oak Music Hall a property at 2915 N. Main St. Houston. The plaintiff says it has not been paid by the defendant for the balance of $15,250. 

John's Little John's Interiors seeks attorney fees, interest, judgment for the balance of $15,250, court costs and all other just relief. It is represented by attorney Matthew D. Storey of Adams and Reese LLP in Houston.
