Customer alleges Station at Mason Creek's negligent maintenance caused fall

HOUSTON —A Harris County man is suing a Katy property owner, alleging he was caused to slip and fall due to negligent maintenance.

Mohammad Akram Rana filed a complaint July 10 in Harris County District Court against AHC Station LLC, doing business as Station at Mason Creek, and Bent Tree JV Holdings LLC doing business as Station at Mason Creek, alleging premises liability.

According to the complaint, Rana was at Station at Mason Creek, 21500 Park Row Drive, Katy on July 13, 2017. The suit alleges Rana slipped and fell due to water that had leaked from the sprinkler system onto the parking lot. The suit states the plaintiff sustained severe injuries, physical pain and suffering and mental anguish.

Rana seeks relief between $200,000 and $1 million, trial by jury, medical costs, lost wages, compensatory damages, interest, court costs and all other just relief. He is represented by attorneys Shamrez Ali and Adam Ramji of Ramji Law Group in San Antonio.
