GALVESTON —A Galveston County property owner is suing a Dickenson woman, alleging he is owed a reimbursement for expenditures.
Cedric Algood filed a complaint July 19 in Galveston County District Court against Maria Rendon, alleging failure to pay.
According to the complaint, Algood and Rendon are tenants who own together a property in Galveston County. Algood alleges he has maintained the property and paid the equity loan or mortgage as well as taxes without aid from Rendon since Sept. 29, 2017. The property value is $425,000.
The plaintiff seeks recovery of expenditures from the defendant's portion.
Algood seeks costs, interest and other just relief. He is represented by attorney Chavon D. Carr in Houston.
