HOUSTON — A Tennessee woman is suing a Houston Mexican restaurant, alleging she tore her hamstring on the defendant's property.

Deborah Dunham of Williamson County, Tennessee, filed a complaint on July 22 in the Harris County District Court against Little Pappasito's Cantina, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on July 26, 2017, Dunham was at Little Pappasito's, 2536 Richmond Ave., Houston. The plaintiff said she was walking toward the restroom and was caused to slip on the floor that was slippery and also dimly lit.

The suit alleges the fall caused Dunham to tear her right hamstring and injure her left knee and she was unable to stand. The plaintiff says she required an ambulance to transport her to Methodist Hospital where she underwent surgery. The plaintiff says she still suffers from chronic pain to her right leg.
