Audi customer alleges negligence led to fall on wet service drive

HOUSTON — A Harris County man is suing a Houston Audi dealer, alleging he was injured after falling on a slippery drive.

Brett Higgins filed a complaint Aug. 13 in Harris County District Court against Sonic Advantage PA LP, doing business as Audi West Houston, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, Higgins was at the Audi dealership, 15865 Katy Freeway, Houston, on Sept. 9, 2017. The suit alleges Higgins was walking on the service drive at the facility when he slipped and fell on a liquid substance that had been left on the ground.

The plaintiff alleges Audi's failure to provide a safe premises led to Higgins sustaining bodily injuries, plus physical pain and suffering.

Higgins seeks between $200,000 and $750,000, interest, costs of the suit and all other just relief. He is represented by attorney Chandra E. Thornton of Thornton & Thornton in Houston
