HOUSTON — A Florida maritime worker is suing a drilling company, alleging he was injured while working on a tugboat.

Littleton Bramblett filed a complaint Aug. 23 in Harris County District Court against Edison Chouest Offshore LLC and Galliano Marine service LLC, alleging negligence and unseaworthiness.

According to the complaint July 10, 2018, Bramblett was working on the tugboat Forte for the defendants. The suit alleges Bramblett slipped and fell due to a dangerous condition on the defendants' vessel. The plaintiff alleges he sustained injuries to his knee, back, neck and other body parts, which necessitated surgery and other medical care.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants operated the tugboat without sufficient crew and failed to properly train and supervise the boat's crew.

Bramblett seeks trial by jury, interest, attorney fees, court costs and all other just relief. He is represented by attorneys Jason A. Itkin, Cory D. Itkin, Ryan MacLeod and Jacob M. Karam of Arnold & Itkin LLP in Houston.
