HOUSTON — A Harris County woman is suing a Houston car wash, alleging that she was caused to slip and fall due to management's negligence.

Zinola Sam filed a complaint Aug. 23 in Harris County District Court against Jenkins Investment Ltd., doing business as Dr. Gleem's Car Wash, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on Dec. 22, 2018, Sam was at Dr. Gleem's Car Wash, 3211 Cypress Creek Parkway, Houston, to have her truck washed. The suit alleges after the truck was washed, Sam slipped off the vehicle's running board where a cleaning substance had been applied and fell to the ground, suffering injuries. The plaintiff said she had to seek treatment at St. Luke's Hospital.

Sam seeks between $200,000 and $1 million in monetary relief, interest, court costs and all just relief. She is represented by attorneys M. Sean Ponce and John Arthur Daspit of Daspit Law Firm PLLC in Houston.
