HEB Grocery customer alleges slippery conditions caused fall

HOUSTON — A Harlingen woman is suing HEB Grocery, alleging she fell due to a slippery portion of ground at the defendant's Pasadena store.

Dominga Delgado filed a complaint Aug. 30 in Harris County District Court against HEB Grocery Company LP, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, Delgado was a guest at HEB Grocery, 6210 Fairmont Parkway., Pasadena on Dec. 4, 2017. The plaintiff said she was walking toward the restroom when she slipped and fell due to wet ground. The fall, the suit states, caused the plaintiff to sustain serious injuries to her knees and left shoulder.

Delgado seeks trial by jury, attorney fees, court costs, interest and all just relief.  She is represented by attorney Gorge M. Rubio of Rubio & Associates PLLC in McAllen.
