HOUSTON — A Harris County man is suing a sports club, alleging a fence collapsed on him.

Joseph Perry Cooper filed a complaint Sept. 3 in Harris County District Court against the city of Houston, Houston Sports and Social Club and Oaks Dads Club, alleging negligence and premises liability.

According to the complaint, on Nov. 27, 2017, Cooper was at Houston Sports and Social Club, 3621 Gold Drive, Houston. Cooper says as he was trying to catch a ball he collided with a fence. The plaintiff said as he struck the fence, it collapsed on him, causing him injuries.
