BRADLEY ARANT BOULT CUMMINGS: Four Attorneys Join Bradley's Construction Practice Group in Houston

Bradley Arant Boult Cummings issued the following announcement on Nov. 7.

Bradley is pleased to announce that Melissa Broussard Carroll, Rebecca A. Muff, Saira S. Siddiqui, and Sydney M. Warren have joined the firm’s Houston office as associates in the Construction Practice Group.

“We are truly excited to welcome Melissa, Rebecca, Saira, and Sydney as new associates in Houston,” said Bradley Houston Office Managing Partner Ian P. Faria, who also is a member of the Construction Practice Group. “They are experienced practitioners who bring valuable insights and strengths to Bradley’s growing team of construction attorneys.”

Bradley was recently named the nation’s “Law Firm of the Year” for Construction Law in the 2020 edition of U.S. News – Best Lawyers "Best Law Firms." In addition, “Best Law Firms” awarded the firm Tier 1 national rankings for four practice areas (Commercial Litigation, Construction Law, Litigation - Construction, and Mass Tort Litigation / Class Action – Defendants) and Tier 1 metropolitan rankings across 70 practice areas.

Ms. Carroll has represented business clients in a wide range of commercial and consumer financial services litigation matters in state and federal court. She has participated in all phases of trial preparation.

Prior to joining Bradley, Ms. Carroll was an associate at alliantgroup, LP. She received her J.D. from Loyola University of New Orleans College of Law. She also holds two bachelor’s degrees (both summa cum laude) from Southern Methodist University.

Ms. Muff focuses her practice on complex litigation related to construction, commercial and fiduciary matters, including breach of contract, bad faith, breach of fiduciary duties, and fraud. She has significant experience representing clients in state and federal courts across the nation at both the trial and appellate levels.

Prior to joining Bradley, Ms. Muff was an associate at Diamond McCarthy LLP. She received her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. She also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts (both summa cum laude) from Texas A&M University.

Ms. Siddiqui concentrates her practice on defending claims for premises liability and construction defect matters. She has extensive experiences in insurance coverage and bad faith litigation matters in state and federal courts across Texas.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Siddiqui was an associate at Thompson, Coe, Cousins & Irons L.L.P. She received her J.D. from South Texas College of Law and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Houston.

Ms. Warren focuses her practice on broad-based commercial litigation, including construction defect, employment law, trade secret misappropriation, copyright and trademark infringement, negligence, contracts, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, DMCA, insurance defense, subrogation, premises liability and DTPA matters.

Prior to joining Bradley, Ms. Warren was an associate at Kane Russell Coleman Logan PC. She received her J.D. (cum laude) from the University of Houston Law Center and her Bachelor of Arts (summa cum laude) from the University of Houston.

Attorneys in Bradley’s award-winning Construction Practice Group counsel clients on projects in the United States, Canada and Mexico, as well as more than 35 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, the Middle East, the Caribbean, and South America. Many of the firm’s construction attorneys have degrees in engineering and architecture and have previous practical experience working in the construction industry.
