HOUSTON — A Texas man who was a seaman on a Cruises to Nowhere casino vessel and was injured when the boat hit a stationary buoy, is claiming the boat operator's negligence.

Tzumas was working on the casino vessel on April 16, 2017 when the captain of the boat ran into a stationary buoy with the point of contact near where Tuzumas was stationed, according to the complaint. Tzumas claims he had to "dive to safety" and suffered injured to his neck and back.

Tzumas seeks monetary relief between $200,000 and $1 million, trial by jury and all other just relief. He is represented by M. Paul Skrabanek and Michael Pierce of The Pierce Skrabanek Bruera Law Firm PLLC in Houston.
