GALVESTON — An equipment rental company alleges a South Houston business has failed to pay more than $22,000 for rental equipment it used on Texas International Terminal's Pavilion project in Galveston.

Ahern Rentals Inc. filed a complaint Nov. 20 in Galveston County District Court against Jegon Industrial Services LLC, Reyna Rios and Texas International Terminals Ltd., alleging breach of contract.

According to the suit, Ahern entered into a contract with Jegon for the rental of construction equipment to use on a Texas International's Pavillion @ Dominion project in Galveston. Ahern alleges Jegon has failed to pay for the rental equipment and currently owes $22,330.99 with an "18 percent annum or 1.5 per month" on the unpaid balance, which resulted in its placing of a lien on the property and project.

Ahern seeks monetary relief between $22,330.99 and $100,000, interest, court costs, attorney fees and all other just relief. It is represented by attorneys Josh Rohe and Jamey Voge of The Voge Rohe Law Firm PLLC in Dallas.
