HOUSTON — A customer who fell in the parking garage of the Galleria Mall in Houston is blaming property owner and operator Simon Property Group for causing her injuries.
Pamela Salinas of Harris County filed a complaint Nov. 26 in Harris County District Court against Simon Property Group (Texas) LP, alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, on March 7, Salinas was walking in the L4/Orange garage at Houston's Galleria Mall. The suit states Salinas lost her balance and landed forcefully on the ground, leading to "extensive injuries to her body."
The plaintiff alleges Simon, which owned and operated the premises, failed to "inspect or ensure" the property for any dangerous conditions.
Salinas seeks monetary relief between $200,000 and $1 million, interest, costs of court and all other just relief. She is represented by attorney Jeffrey Todd of The Todd Law Group PLLC in Houston.
