Reed Smith LLP issued the following announcement on June 1.
The Houston Bar Association’s International Law Section has elected its officers for the 2020-2021 term, and Reed Smith attorneys got the votes.

Will Russell, a counsel specializing in commercial litigation and in international arbitration, has chaired the section for the past two terms and leaves that role, but will remain as an ex officio member.
Partner Nicolas Borda is an international business transaction lawyer with a focus on energy and natural resources, infrastructure, and Latin America. He will serve as a council member.
Danny Avila, an associate specializing in international arbitration, commercial litigation and transnational investment law, will serve as the secretary.
