Locke Lord LLP issued the following announcement on Aug. 7.

Locke Lord was recognized by The Deal as the 2020 Energy and Industrials Law Firm of the Year during its Middle Market Awards, held virtually on July 31, 2020, to recognize the leading bankers, investors and advisers in middle-market transactions.

The Firm’s renowned Energy Practice Group, co-chaired by Bill Swanstrom, Terry Radney and Jason Schumacher, stood out from the competition by leading a number of notable deals throughout 2019, including representing NJR Midstream in the acquisition of Leaf River Energy Center LLC from Macquarie Infrastructure Partners; Martin Midstream Partners in the sale of its membership interests in several gas storage assets to Hartree Cardinal Gas, LLC; Generation Pipeline in its sale to NEXUS Gas Transmission and its member companies; White Deer Energy in the purchase of TorcSill Foundations and White Deer’s sale of portfolio company On Point Oilfield Holdings to Gravity; and Coastal Flow Measurement in the company’s sale to Quorum Software, a Thoma Bravo portfolio company, among many others.
