Greenberg Traurig LLP issued the following announcement on Oct. 2.
Mary-Olga Lovett, Senior Vice President of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, will be the keynote speaker for the Women's Energy Network's (WEN) Gen2Gen Symposium, Oct. 6. Lovett’s speech will focus on “Generation Bias.”
WEN is an international organization of professionals who work across the energy value chain. The Houston chapter’s annual Gen2Gen Symposium focuses on cross-generational talent development within the energy industry. This year’s virtual symposium will be open to the community and will focus on three topics - Communications, Diversity & Inclusion, and Generational Bias.
“It is vital that we all continue to advance the conversation of inclusion and make strides forward on diversity and equality while linking the wisdom of our past with the energy of our future,” Lovett said. “This next generation is filled with brilliance and fortitude and they are the beacons that we’ll follow into “forward.” We also must embrace the lessons, allyship, and deep knowledge of the older generations. It is an honor to be speaking at the Gen2Gen Symposium.”
