In May 2020, the U.S. Department of Education (ED) announced new requirements for responding to sexual harassment in the programs and activities of elementary and secondary schools receiving ED funds. This followed the February 2020 announcement by the ED regarding an initiative to combat sexual assault in K-12 schools.
This six-hour virtual training is designed to equip Title IX coordinators, investigators, and other elementary and secondary school officials with information and tools to respond to reports of sexual harassment. The two-day session is formatted to satisfy the training requirements of the new Title IX regulations.
