HOUSTON — A Houston man claims his fellow co-owners of a limited liability company with businesses in the restaurant and bar industry committed fraud and failed to pay him for his services.

Gregory Perez filed a complaint in Harris County District Court against GJS LLC, Ozzie Sourse LLC and Jesus Gonzales alleging fraud and negligent representation.

According to Perez's complaint, he entered into an agreement on Nov. 26, 2018, with Sourse and Gonzales  "to create a limited liability company" called GJS LLC to specialize in the hospitality, restaurant and bar industry. Perez alleges that "over the course of the agreement," Gonzales commingled  GJS funds and intimidated him with "physical and illegal threats."

Perez further alleges that he and the defendants could not come to agreement regarding Sourse and Gonzalez buying out his share of the business for $100,000, that they "frauduently removed" him as owner by making false allegations of his misuse of company funds without any evidence. Perez claims he provided "valuable goods and or services" to the defendants including managerial services to operate one of  GJS' establishments, the Monkey's Tail bar, and that they abused his trust and confidence with fraudulent acts.

Perez seeks monetary relief between $250,000 and $1 million, interest and all other just relief. He is represented by Jason Yancey of Yancey Legal PLLC in Houston.
