HOUSTON — A woman alleges she fell in a construction area of the parking lot at a Tru by Hilton Hotel and suffered fractures to both arms as well as other serious injuries.

Pacheco alleges that while at the Tru by Hilton hotel on April 8, 2019, owned by the defendant, she fell in the parking lot "due to construction issues." She claims the fall caused her to suffer fractures on both of her arms and that she had to be transported by ambulance "for emergency surgical intervention."

In addition, Pacheco also claims she suffered injuries to her leg, head, neck, back and other parts of her body that left her "bruised, battered and confused." She alleges the injuries have been a "great shock to her entire nervous system" and have had "a serious effect" on her health and well-being. Pacheco alleges the defendant failed to maintain a safe premises and failed to inspect the premises for dangerous conditions that could "cause harm to a patron."
