HOUSTON — A woman is suing Valero Energy after suffering a slip and fall at one of the properties and requiring medical attention for her injuries.

Angela Harrison filed a complaint  June 24 in Harris County District Court against Valero Energy Corporation alleging negligence.

Harrison alleges in her complaint that while at the defendant's property on Aug. 16, 2020, she slipped, fell and suffered injuries including physical impairment that required medical attention. She claims the defendants failed to maintain a safe property and keep it free from "unnecessary hazards" and also failed to properly supervise the operation of its facility or warn of the dangerous condition. Harrison further claims the defendants did not inspect the floor of their property in order to prevent injuries.

Harrison seeks monetary relief of $250,000 or less, interest and all other just relief. She is represented by Randall Novak and Shalonda Foster of The R.L. Novak Law Firm in Houston
