HOUSTON — A contractor claims he struck his head and other body parts after being shoved from behind by another worker at a job site and over a pallet of stone.

Jerry Alan Lee filed a complaint July 1 in Harris County District Court against David Christopher, individually and doing business as Custom Dirt Works alleging assault.

Lee claims in his suit that he was working at a job site as a third party contractor on Oct. 18, 2019. Lee alleges that Christopher "brutally assaulted" him without provocation by shoving him from behind and causing him to go over a pallet of stone and striking his head, shoulder and upper body.

He claims Christopher "intentionally, knowingly and recklessly" caused him injuries with the physical attack and alleges he has suffered pain, physical impairment, disfigurement and mental anguish. Lee also claims he has suffered lost wages and incurred medical treatment expenses as a result of Christopher's attack.

Lee seeks monetary relief between $250,000 and $1 million, interest, trial by jury and all other just relief. He is represented by Loren Klitsas of Klitsas & Vercher PC in Houston.
