HOUSTON — A woman who fell at the Texas Saloon in Humble while walking to the bathroom is claiming negligence.

Rachel Meza filed a complaint July 13 in Harris County District Court against 2 YS Ranch Inc., doing business as Texas Saloon Bar alleging premises liability.

Meza alleges in her complaint that she was at the Texas Saloon on Atascocita Road in Humble on July 20, 2019. She claims that as she was walking to the bathroom in the saloon, she "missed a step and suddenly fell" and suffered injuries.

Meza alleges that the defendant failed to inspect its premises or fix the dangerous condition. She also alleges the defendants failed to warn about the hazard which led to her injuries and caused her to suffer pain, impairment, mental anguish and to incur medical expenses.

Meza seeks monetary relief between $250,000 and $1 million, trial by jury and all other just relief.

She is represented by Anthony Pusch, Chi-Hung Nguyen and Raymer Mujica of The Pusch & Nguyen Law Firm PLLC in Houston.
