HOUSTON — A man claims a classic car repair and restoration business in The Woodlands has failed to complete the restoration of his 1967 Chevy after he paid them more than $230,000.

Gustavo Rossi Greco filed a complaint Aug. 6 in Harris County District Court against City Classic Cars Repair and Restoration LLC alleging breach of contract.

According to Greco's suit, he contracted with City Classic for the purchase and restoration of a 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS on Nov. 29, 2018. He alleges the contract included a $75,000 estimate for the restoration and $27,000 for the purchase of the car and that despite "a lengthly delay" and payments of $236,027.24, the car has not been completed.

Greco claims the defendant communicated that his car was "still on step 24 of 25" of the rebuild process with no date for a final completion. He further claims that City Classic has breached their contract by failing to perform their obligations under the contract and complete the restoration and delivery within a reasonable time.

Greco seeks monetary relief of $250,000 or less, interest and all other just relief. He is represented by Alan San Miguel and Mario Gonzalez of San Miguel Attorneys PC in The Woodlands.
