Woman claiming Kohl's employee shoved her sues for $1M plus

HOUSTON — A woman is alleging Kohl's negligence after a store employee shoved her and caused her to suffer substantial injuries. 

Andrea Egan filed a complaint Aug. 6 in Harris County District Court against Kohl's Inc., alleging negligence. 

Egan alleges in her complaint that she was invitee at the Khol's store on Farm to Market 2920 in Tomball on April 26, 2021. She alleges that a Kohl's employee shoved her and caused her to suffer injuries. Egan claims as a result of the incident, she suffered pain, mental anguish, physical impairment, disfigurement as well as loss of earning capacity. 

She also claims she has incurred medical treatment expenses as a result of the incident. 

Egan alleges Kohl's employee acted with the "specific intent to cause substantial injury" to her and that Kohl's "proceeded with conscious indifference" for her rights, safety and welfare.  

Egan seeks monetary relief of no more than $1 million, interest and all other just relief. She is represented by Essay Eden of The Daspit Law Firm in Houston.
