HOUSTON — A woman is suing Texas Dow Employees Credit Union claiming she suffered injuries while on their premises because of their negligence.

Yolanda Joseph filed a complaint Sept. 7 in Harris County District Court against Texas Dow Employees Credit Union alleging negligence.

According to her complaint, Joseph was at the defendant's place of business located in Baytown on Sept. 11, 2019. She alleges that she suffered severe personal injuries due to the defendant's having "one or more conditions" that posed an unreasonable risk of harm.

Joseph claims the defendant failed to exercise ordinary care or to warn of the conditions. She also claims as a result of the defendant's negligence, she suffered pain, mental anguish, impairment, lost wages and incurred medical and health care expenses.

Joseph seeks monetary relief between $250,000 and $1 million, interest and all other just relief. She is represented by Scott Lannie of The Law Offices of Scott C. Lannie PC in Baytown.
