HOUSTON — A woman alleges she slipped on a wet floor outside the restroom at a Houston restaurant and suffered multiple injuries.

Bieanca White filed a complaint Dec. 1 in Harris County District Court against Pappas Restaurants Inc., alleging negligence.

White was at Pappas Restaurant in Houston on July 31, 2020, according to her complaint. She alleges that while on the restaurant's premises, she slipped and fell on a wet floor outside the women's restroom and "violently" fell to the floor.

White claims Pappas' negligence for maintaining the dangerous condition, failing to warn of the dangerous condition and for failing to reasonably inspect the hazard. She further claims as a result of the fall, she suffered bruises and other bodily injuries that caused her physical and mental pain, impairment, disfigurement and lost wages.

White seeks monetary relief between $250,000 and $1 million, interest, trial by jury, and all other proper relief. She is represented by Ralphaell Wilkins of The Wilkins Law Firm PC in Houston.
