U.S. Postal Service sued over automobile collision

HOUSTON - The U.S. Postal Service has been named in a lawsuit alleging an employee caused an automobile collision. 

Seeking monetary relief under $75,000, Laura Rodriguez filed the suit on March 28 in Harris County District Court. 

According to the lawsuit, on July 2, 2020, the plaintiff was traveling southbound on the Grand Parkway when suddenly and without warning a USPS employee disregarded the turn marks, turned improperly and struck the plaintiff’s vehicle. 

The suit is alleging negligence. 

The plaintiff is suing to recover damages for past and future pain, mental anguish, medical expenses, impairment and lost earnings.
